How far in advance should I book?

• Outbound (you \u2192 airport): book at least 12 hours ahead for early-morning departures, and 2\u20133 hours for any other time. For 4am\u20136am Gatwick runs, booking the night before is strongly recommended.
• Return (airport \u2192 home): book it before you fly out \u2014 ideally at the same time as your outbound. Walk-up airport taxi ranks at Gatwick can mean a 30\u201360 minute wait at peak times, and prices are higher than a pre-booked ride.

How early should the taxi arrive?

Add the drive time + buffer for traffic + your check-in deadline. Our standard recommendations from Haywards Heath:

• Heathrow: Driver waits in the short-stay car park; you\u2019ll get a text with bay number when they\u2019re parked.
• Stansted / Luton: Driver collects you from the short-stay drop-off / pick-up area.

If you prefer to be met in arrivals with a name board, tick \u201cMeet & greet\u201d when you book. (Small extra fee covers parking and waiting.)

Free waiting time at the airport

For all airport arrivals we include 45 minutes of free waiting from the time your flight lands, to cover bag reclaim and passport queues. After that, a clear per-15-minute waiting charge applies. The waiting clock is visible on your booking confirmation.

What if my flight is cancelled?

Let us know as early as you can. If we haven\u2019t dispatched a driver, the booking is cancelled free of charge. If a driver is already en-route, only the dispatched portion is charged \u2014 typically the call-out, not the full fare.

Luggage

• 4-seater: 4 passengers with 3 standard suitcases + hand luggage. 4 cases is tight.
• 6-seater: 6 passengers with 4\u20135 standard suitcases.
• 8-seater: 8 passengers with 6\u20137 standard suitcases.
